1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the URTech platform (including the mobile application and web portal at urtech.my), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Service Description

URTech provides a workshop management platform that connects vehicle owners with automotive service providers (workshops). We facilitate appointment booking, job tracking, invoicing, and communication between customers and workshops.

URTech is a technology platform — we do not directly perform automotive repair or maintenance services. The workshops listed on our platform are independent businesses.

3. User Accounts

Customers: You may create an account using your phone number via OTP verification. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.

Workshops: Workshop accounts are created through our onboarding process. Workshop owners are responsible for the accuracy of their business information, pricing, and service availability.

4. Booking & Appointments

Appointments booked through URTech are subject to workshop availability. Workshops may confirm, reschedule, or cancel appointments based on their operational capacity.

Customers may cancel appointments through the app. Cancellation policies (if any) are set by individual workshops.

5. Payments

Payments for services are made directly to the workshop. URTech may facilitate online payment collection through third-party payment gateways (e.g., Billplz, Stripe). URTech does not hold customer funds.

Pricing displayed on the platform is set by individual workshops and may vary. Always confirm the final price with your workshop before authorizing work.

6. Loyalty Points & Referral Program

Program Ownership: Loyalty and referral programs available on URTech are operated by individual workshops, not by URTech. Each workshop decides whether to enable the program, sets their own earn rates and bonus amounts (within platform-approved limits), and bears the full cost of rewards redeemed by their customers.

Points Are Not Currency: Loyalty points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money. Points can only be redeemed for rewards offered by the workshop that issued them. Points are not transferable between workshops or between customers.

Platform Oversight: URTech monitors all loyalty and referral activity across the platform. We reserve the right to suspend, modify, or terminate any workshop's loyalty program if we detect abuse, fraud, misleading promotions, or failure to honor redemptions. This includes but is not limited to: issuing inflated points as bait, refusing to honor valid redemptions, running self-referral schemes, or making promotional promises the workshop cannot fulfil.

Points Expiry: Points expire after a period determined by the workshop (minimum {platformMinExpiry} months as set by platform policy). Expired points cannot be reinstated. Workshops cannot promise "points never expire" below the platform minimum.

Redemption: When you redeem points for a reward, you receive a voucher code valid for a limited period. Present this code at the workshop to receive your reward. If a workshop refuses to honor a valid, unexpired voucher, please contact URTech support immediately.

Referral Rewards: Referral bonuses are credited only when the referred customer pays their first invoice. Both the referrer and the referred customer must be genuine, distinct individuals. Attempts to game the referral system (creating fake accounts, self-referral, referral rings) will result in forfeiture of all pending rewards and may lead to account suspension.

Program Changes: Workshops may change their loyalty rates, bonus amounts, or disable their program at any time. Points already earned remain valid until their expiry date regardless of program changes. URTech may adjust platform-level rules (caps, expiry floors, redemption values) with reasonable notice.

7. Limitation of Liability

URTech is not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by workshops listed on the platform. Any disputes regarding service quality should be resolved directly with the workshop.

URTech provides the platform "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation.

8. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the mobile app (Profile → Delete My Account) or by contacting support. Upon deletion, your personal data will be anonymized and your account will be permanently removed.

9. Modifications

URTech reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
